Chartered on May 19, 2008, the Tallahassee Southside Kiwanis Club is comprised of a diverse group of people providing community service, advocacy, and philanthropy for the children in Division 3 of the Florida District of Kiwanis and the Kiwanis International projects providing a better quality of life for all children of the world. We are professionals, entrepreneurs, retirees, and stay at home parents; both young and not so young. Each of us is super charged to have fun while serving the community and each other.

The Tallahassee Southside Kiwanis Club holds bi-weekly meetings at 12:00 noon on the first and third Thursday of each month at the Southwood Golf Club.  These meetings host guest speakers from the community who present on the expansive topic of improving the lives of all children in the Tallahassee area both indirectly and directly.

Additionally, The club hosts a social mixer every 2nd Tuesday of each month at an announced location beginning at 7:30 p.m. Social gatherings allow club members and guests to unwind and network in a relaxed social environment. Our current Club President is Brian Forbing. Brian, having joined Kiwanis within the past year, an animated and enthusiastic servant dedicated to serving the community, children, and our club. Brian's goals for this year is to increase membership within our club and to continue providing exceptional support to our Service Leadership Programs within the schools in Tallahassee.
